Operating Considerations
A Unique Challenge verifies that the mobile station and Test Set possess the same
sets of Shared Secret Data (SSD). Refer to the E8285A Application Guide,
Authentication Tests, for a description of performing Unique Challenge-
Response.
If a valid ESN is not found in the
MS Database field, the Test Set will beep and
display the following message:
Cannot perform SSD Update until the
phone has registered
.

CDMA AUTHENTICATION
Uniq Chall (annunciator)
This annunciator, when lit, indicates that a Unique Challenge has been sent to the
mobile, and the Test Set is waiting for a response.
