A-Key Digits
This field is used to enter the decimal digits used to generate the A_Key. When a
number is entered, the Test Set will add leading zeroes if necessary to fill the field
with 20 digits. The default setting is all zeroes.
GPIB Example
“CDMA:AUTH:AKEY ‘1’”
enters a 1 preceded by 19 0’s in the A-Key field.
Operating Considerations
When a new value for A_Key is entered into the A_Key field, the Test Set’s
Shared Secret Data (SSD_A) is initialized to zero.
Check Digits are computed and displayed if a valid ESN is present in the
MS
Database
when a number is entered in the A_Key field.
NOTE: Check Digits are not affected by ESN when Kor PCS is selected in the Protocol field.
