70 CHAPTER 4: PORT COMMANDS
clear ap Removes a Distributed MAP.
CAUTION: When you clear a Distributed MAP, MSS ends user sessions
that are using the MAP.
Syntax —
clear ap {ap-number | all}
ap-number — Number of the Distributed MAP(s) to remove.
all — Clear all distributed MAPs.
Defaults — None.
Access — Enabled.
History — Introduced in MSS Version 3.0. Version 6.0 renamed dap to
ap.
Examples — The following command clears Distributed MAP 1:
WX4400# clear ap 1
This will clear specified AP devices.
