clear log trace Deletes the log messages stored in the trace buffer.
Syntax —
clear log trace
Defaults — None.
Access — Enabled.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Examples — To delete the trace log, type the following command:

clear trace Deletes running trace commands and ends trace processes.
Syntax — clear trace {trace-area | all}
trace-area — Ends a particular trace process. Specify one of the
following keywords to end the traces documented in this chapter:
authorization — Ends an authorization trace
dot1x — Ends an 802.1X trace
authentication — Ends an authentication trace
sm — Ends a session manager trace
all — Ends all trace processes.
