Method of V. R. adjustment
1. Loosen the 2 screws which secure the V. R. BRACKET, move the V. R. BRACKET and detach
the gears.
2. Adjust the V. R. so that it is consistent with the value near the centering position.
3. Cause the gears to be engaged and secure the V. R. BRACKET. At this time, make sure that an
appropriate backlash is obtained.
4. If the V. R. value is not appropriate when the steering wheel is at the centering position, loosen
the 2 screws which secure the V. R. gear, turn the gear holder to make a fine adjustment so that
the V. R. value is within the allowable range.
5. Check the V. R. value variations by turning the handle.
