NOTE
Always unplug unit before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning the Glass Plate:
Lift the glass plate out (See Fig. 1.5) and clean it using a microfiber cloth as used in cleaning
A/R coated lenses. You can also clean the glass plate with glass cleaner or warm soapy water
and a clean water rinse. Make sure that the plate is completely dry before replacing into the
chamber. Replace the glass plate and resume using the Clarity.
Cleaning the LCD:
Remove the glass plate (See Fig. 1.5) and reach down into the opening that the glass plate
covered. Using a microfiber cloth, clean the LCD gently and thoroughly.
Cleaning the Touch Screen:
The touch screen can be cleaned using a microfiber cloth. Wipe the screen gently until
fingerprints and smudges are eliminated.
Replacement of the Main Fuse Located on the Rear Bulkhead (Fig. 1.3):
Using a flat head screw driver, insert it into the slot on the cover and push in while rotating to
remove the cover/holder. Remove the bad fuse and replace it with the proper 250v 5amp 5x20
mm slow blow fuse. Re-install the fuse holder using the flat head screwdriver to push in and
rotate to lock in place.
