The Advanced Screen

This screen is discussed in detail in the last chapter of this guide. Please call Technical
Support before making any changes to this screen.
Key Features of the Advanced Screen
Home - To return all of the axes to their home position, press this button.
Burn In - Is used to exercise the axes, especially when the machine is cold.
Distance, Near and Prism Power Checks – Specifies both the number of power checks and
the number of power targets. Higher values improve accuracy but take longer. The Clarity is
set at the factory for the combination that provides optimum function balancing speed and
accuracy.
Other features:
Update Software (Install new versions of software.)
Set Date and Time
Restore Data (If a backup was made, which is recommended.)
Backup Data (Copy setup data to a USB thumb drive.)
Import Lens Data (Used to import finished lens data for accurate power reading of stock
finished lenses.)
Save Tech Data Save screen images of all the Setup screen tabs.
