General Description
When the D
term
PS series user moves out of the service area, the electric field strength becomes weak or the Error
rate exceeds the threshold, this service notifies the user with a warning tone and the LCD display.
Operating Procedure
No manual operation is required.
Service Conditions
1. If the D
term
PS user turns the power on when he/she is out of the service area or when the user moves out
of the service area while idle, “antenna pict” display goes off and the LCD displays “NO SVC” or “No
Service” in the upper section.
2. When the D
term
PS user moves out of the service area while engaged in a call, “antenna pict” display goes
off and the LCD displays “NO SVC” or “No Service” in the upper section after the user receives a warning
tone.
3. When the electric field strength becomes so weak that communication cannot be continued or when the
Error rate exceeds the threshold, AUTOMATIC RELEASE - OUT OF CELL CALLS is activated.
