Cleaning Schedule
The recommended cleaning schedule is shown in Table 10. Specific cleaning procedures are
provided on the following pages.
Cleaning the Exterior
The exterior surfaces of the printe r may be cleaned with a lint-free cloth. Do no t use harsh or
abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. If necessary, a mild deter g ent soluti on o r d esktop clea ne r
may be used sparingly.

* Use Zebra’s Preventative Maintenance kit, part number 47362, or a solution of
90% isopropyl alcohol and 10% deionized water.
† You may also use Zebra’s Save-a-Printhead cleaning film. This specially coated material
removes contamination buildup without damaging the printhead . Call your authorized Zebra
reseller or distributor for more information.
Caution • Use only the cleaning agents indicated . Zebra Technologies is not responsible
for any other fluids used on this printer.
