Using the headset system
Calling via the fixed line phone using the headset
Accepting an incoming call
You hear the ring tone of the fixed line phone:
̈ Put on the headset and establish a wireless link between headse
t and
base station (see page 23).
If you are using a handset lifter/electronic hook switch, the call
is auto-
matically accepted.
If you receive a call and a handset lifter/electronic hook switch with
ring tone detection is used, you hear a ring tone in the headset and
the LED of the PHONE button
» flashes white.
If you are not u
sing a handset lifter/electronic hook switch:
̈ Accept the call by lifting the handset or by
pressing the “accept call”
button on your fixed line phone.
Making a call
If you are using a handset lifter/electronic hook switch:
̈ Dial the desired number.
̈ Put on the headset and establish a wireless link
between headse
t and
base station (see page 23).
The phone connection is establ
ished automatically.
If you are not using a handset lifter/electronic hook switch:
̈ Put the headset on and establish a wireless link between headse
t and
base station (see page 23).
̈ Lift the handset and dial the desired number.
The phone connection is established.
