1.The First Screen to appearis the name ofthe game. Press the“Start”Button to begin playing and enjoy the game!
2.You begin at the top of theTower of Doom and work your way down through numerous mazes to freedom.Some adventures have more obstacles and
will take longer.
3.Press the“B”Button when you get inthe maze and meet someDragons.This will allow you utilize your swordto fight themoff.
4.The Screen isdivided into several sections, each giving vital information.
•Thelargest section shows your immediate vicinity withina level,along with nearby weapons, treasures,doors,traps, stairs,and monsters.As you
explore new areas of a level, the walls of the corridors and rooms will appear.Theyremain visible when you return to areas you’ve explored.If you come
face to face with amonster, the map is replacedwith a view of the battle.
• In the upper leftcorner of the screenis the LEVEL MAP.This map shows the areasof the level you have explored,with your current positionindicated
by a white dot.
• At the middle leftof the screen are threerowsof symbols.You can usethe symbols in the top row to find out your status,to selectitems from your
pack,to use items, and to open doors and to descend stairs.The second andthird rowsshow the items you are currently carrying in your pack.
•
At the bottom ofthe screen,theselevels indicatehow muchinjury you can sustain before dying.You lose points as you are hurt in battle.You gain
them back overtimeas you heal.
5.The primary functionof the controller is to navigate your moves through the maze,and use the Sword to kill the monster.
6.To find outhow well you did,you can look atyourtreasure Source. But the REAL test of how well you did is: Did you escape…ALIVE?
