Remove the Mini-Card(s) (see “Removing the Mini-Card(s)” on page 15. 74).
Remove the processor heat sink (see “Removing the Processor Heat Sink” on 16.

Remove the processor (see “Removing the Processor” on page 17. 83).
Remove the graphics card(s) (see “Removing the Graphics Card(s)” on 18.

Disconnect the graphics card fan(s) cable from the system board connector 19.

Remove the graphics card blank, if applicable (see “Removing the Graphics 20.

Remove the ve screws that secure the system board to the computer base.21.
Disconnect the consumer IR cable from the connectors on the system board 22.

Disconnect the left speaker light cable from the system board connector.23.
Lift the system board at an angle and remove it from the computer base. 24.

Remove the compartment door (see “Removing the Compartment Door” on 3.

Remove the hard drive(s) (see “Removing the Hard Drive(s)” on page 4. 17).
Disconnect the processor thermal fan cable from the system board 5.

Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board connector (see 6.
“Removing the Coin-Cell Battery” on page 25).
Remove the memory module(s) (see “Removing the Memory Module(s)” on 7.
page 28).
Remove the palm rest (see “Removing the Palm Rest” on page 8. 42).
Remove the center control cover (see “Removing the Center Control Cover” 9.
on page 33).
Remove the keyboard (see “Removing the Keyboard” on page 10. 38).
Remove the left and right brackets (see “Removing the Brackets” on 11.
page 47).
Remove the magnesium cover (see “Removing the Magnesium Cover” on 12.
page 50).
