To secure the Mobile AP service:
The use of a secure Wi-Fi connection is recommended in order to
prevent unauthorized access to your hotspot. To enable security
(WPA2 PSK) and set a password:
1. Press and then tap (
Settings
)
Wireless and networks
Tethering and portable hotspot
Mobile AP settings
Configure mobile AP

2. Tap the
Security
field and select
WPA2 PSK
.
3. Enter a password into the
Password
field.

To see the password characters as you type them, tap
Show
password
. This is beneficial as you will not be able to match an
incorrectly entered password on the connecting devices.
Important!:
The more complex the password, the harder it will be for intruders
to break your security. It is recommended that you not use names,
birthdays, or other personal information.
4. Tap
Save
to store the new settings.
