Removing the oil filterx
Warning
Danger of scaldingಗEngine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motocycle is driven.
ಥ Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If you scald yourself, hold the affected area under cold water immediately.

Environmental hazardಗProblem materials cause environmental damage.
ಥ Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.
ಥ Place a suitable container under the engine.

ಥ Remove screws. Remove oil filter cover with O-ring.

ಥ Pull the oil filter insert out of the oil filter casing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
ಥ Completely drain the engine oil.
ಥ Thoroughly clean parts and sealing area.

ಥ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ಥ Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to about ൜ full with en-
gine oil.
ಥ Fill the oil filter with engine oil and place it in the oil filter container.
ಥ Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover and assemble it with the oil filter cover
.
ಥ Mount and tighten screws.

ಥ Stand the motorcycle up.

Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in premature wear to the engine.

ಥ Remove the screw cap on the clutch cover and fill up with engine oil.

ಥ Mount and tighten screw cap

sciousness and/or death.
ಥ When running the engine, always make sure there is sufficient ventila-
tion, and do not start or run the engine in a closed space.
ಥ Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
