Licensing VirtualCenter and ESX Server After the
Evaluation Period Expires
Afterthe60‐dayevaluationperiodexpires,unlessyouobtainlicensesforyour
software,youarenolongerabletoperformmostoperationsinVirtualCenterand
ESX Server.For example,youcannotpoweronvirtualmachines,addnewhosts,oruse
advancedESX ServerandVirtualCenterfeatures.
IfyoudonotlicenseVirtualCenterbefore
theevaluationperiodexpires,allofthehosts
intheVirtualCenterinventoryaredisconnected.

thatarenotpermittedrequiretheacquisitionofnewlicenses.
