Basic Operations
■ For Macintosh users
The Panasonic KX-PS8100 has two scanner drivers, TWAIN as well as
Photoshop Plug-in. Perform the following depending upon the scanner
driver.
To use the TWAIN scanner driver:

Start Mac OS.

Run your TWAIN compliant application.

Click the File menu, and click Import.

Click Twain Acquire..., and go to step 5.
The Panasonic Scanner Driver and the Preview Screen are
displayed.
To use the Photoshop Plug-in scanner driver:

Start Mac OS.

Run your Photoshop Plug-in compliant application.

Click the File menu, and click Import.

Click KX-PS8100 Scanner....
The Panasonic Scanner Driver and the Preview Screen are
displayed.

Place the document(s) in the ADF tray or on the scanner
glass (see page 187-188).

Click [Prescan] to display the document image in the
Preview Screen and select a scanning area.
7
Click [Scan].
The scanner will start scanning the document(s).
