Wattsareunitsofenergygenerationandfrequentlyadoptedtotracktheamountofworkgeneratedduringa
workout.Wattsarecalculatedwithinputfromtheuser’scurrentSpeedandLoad.
WorkoutProfileorBrickyard
DuringtheSetupmodeandwhileaprogramisoperating,thisfieldwillgraphically
displaytheresistancelevelofthecurrentworkoutprogram.Ahigher“brick”stack
representsahigherloadorresistancelevel,witheachbrickrepresentingtwo(2)levels
ofresistance.Aflashingcolumnof
brickswillindicatetheuser’sprogressinthe
programatanygiventime.Inthediagramtotheleft,theuserhasprogressedtothe
sixthcolumn(flashing)andtheresistancelevelissetcurrentlysettotwelve(12).
Eachverticalcolumnrepresentsatimeintervaldeterminedbythetotal
lengthofthe
program.Eachcolumnwillequal1/10
th
ofthetotalprogramlength.Forexample,iftheprogramlengthisthirty(30)
minutes,eachcolumnwillequalthree(3)minutes(30minutes/10segments=3minutespersegment).
DuringtheTargetHeartRateprograms,thebrickyardwilldisplaytheuser’scalculatedmaximumheartrateprofile.
Warm
UpandCoolDownProgramIndicators
Afterselectingoneofthe500Erprograms,theWarmUpprogramwilllaunchautomaticallyand“Warm
Up”willbedisplayedabovethebrickyard.Uponthecompletionofaprogram,theCoolDownprogram
willcommenceand“CoolDown”willbedisplayed.
DataEntryPrompts
During
theSetupmode,theuserwillbepromptedtoenterdata.“EnterAge”or“EnterWeight”will
flashtoprompttheuser.
