1.2 Features of this Product
This product is a license key that makes the following Remote Management Controller functions
available.
• Console Redirection
This function has the ability to check the keyboard and mouse operations and display of the server
and also operate the server from remote locations.
By using the Console Redirection function, the KVM switching function is enabled under the envi-
ronment where multiple servers are used. The configuration of a multiple server environment is as
shown below.
` iRMC user name and IP address of the server to be logged in are displayed in the browser
title, as shown in the diagram above. When console windows of many servers are open, the
response may be slow.
` To execute redirection of the TEXT screen, select "BIOS Text Console" from the Web
interface menu. It is not necessary to register the license key for TEXT redirection.
