Protecting from accidental erasure
✤ You can protect important images from accidental erasure.
■
If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT, all images including
protected images will be erased.
1. Set the mode switch to DSC.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
■
The last recorded image appears.
■
If there are no recorded images on the Smart Media
Card, NO STORED IMAGE and MEM. will be blinking
on the screen.
3. Using the (MEM.
+
) and (MEM.
_
) buttons, Search the still
image that you want to protect.
4. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PROTECT SET and press ENTER.
6. To activate or deactivate the PROTECT mode,
press ENTER.
■
ON : To protect the viewing image.
- The protect indicator P appears on the
screen.
■
OFF : To release the protecting mode of viewing
image.
- The P mark disappears on the screen.
■
RETURN: To return to main menu.
7. Using the (MEM.
+
) and (MEM.
_
) buttons, search the still
image that you want to protect again.
■
Protect or release the image using step 6.
8. To exit the menu, press the MENU ON/OFF button.

Protección contra el borrado accidental
✤ Puede proteger las imágenes importantes contra el borrado accidental.
■
Si ejecuta MEMORY FORMAT, se borrarán todas las imágenes
incluidas las imágenes protegidas.
1. Ponga el interruptor de modo en DSC.
2. Ponga el interruptor de encendido en modo PLAYER.
■
Aparece la última imagen grabada.
■
Si no hay imágenes grabadas en la tarjeta Smart
Media Card, el mensaje NO STORED IMAGE y
la indicación MEM. parpadearán en la pantalla.
3. Con los botones (MEM.+) y (MEM. _ ), busque la imagen fija
que desee proteger.
4. Pulse el botón MENU ON/OFF.
5. Gire el disco selector MENU hasta PROTECT SET y pulse ENTER.
6. Para activar o desactivar el modo PROTECT,
pulse ENTER.
■
ON: Para proteger la imagen visualizada.
- Aparece el indicador de protección P en la pantalla.
■
OFF: Para desproteger la imagen visualizada.
- La marca P desaparece de la pantalla.
■
RETURN: Para volver al menú principal.
7. Con los botones (MEM.
+
) y (MEM.
_
), busque la imagen fija
que desee proteger de nuevo.
■
Proteja o desproteja la imagen siguiendo el paso 6.
8. Para salir del menú, pulse el botón MENU ON/OFF.
