Establishing A Connection

Signal strength is between 81% and 100%.
A GPRS packet data connection is active.
CDMA/1xRTT
Signal strength is between 1% and 20%.
Signal strength is between 21% and 40%.
Signal strength is between 41% and 60%.
Signal strength is between 61% and 80%.
Signal strength is between 81% and 100%.
A CDMA/1xRTT packet data connection is active.
6.44.2 Establishing A Connection
• Tap on Start>Settings. Tap on the System tab followed by the Wireless WAN icon.
The Status field indicates when the unit is ready to connect–the Connect Data button
is enabled.
• Tap on the Connect Data button.
The progress of the connection is tracked in the Status field.
