Replacement of Pinion Gear:
Remove engine (#30P15).
Tap on the head of pinion using a hammer to pull out the pinion
(#22P15) including 23-26.
7. Speed adjustment

Idle adjustment

Adjust idle when engine is warm.
7-1-2
With the throttle in a off position, adjust idle screw
(Fig 12) to approximately 1,200+- 100.

Pilot adjustment
7-2-1
Turn pilot screw (Fig. 13 ) to closed position.
Open
approximately one full turn for smooth engine idling.
7-3.
High speed adjustment.
The rammer should operate at
3800 rpm at full operating speed .
Proper high speed can be
adjusted simply by adjusting the adjusting screw and nut to the
proper stop position as shown in (Fig. 14).
NOTE:
Do not
remove the governor lever or governor shaft unless absolutely
necessary for disassembly.
When disassembling is necessary,
measure the dimension L of the adjusting screw and when
reassembled, set the adjusting screw to the L dimension.
