15 Ignore the last two fields: Idle Code: and A-LAW or MU-LAW:.

The system assigns the protocol to the selected circuit card.
Change T1 A/B
Robbed-bit E&M
Parameters
The circuit card must first be assigned to the T1 A/B Robbed-bit E&M
protocol to use this procedure. See Assigning T1 A/B Robbed-bit E&M to
Digital Circuit Cards on page 151 for more information about making the
initial assignment.
Note: Before attempting to make any assignment changes to circuit
cards, they must be in the MANOOS state. See Equipment State
on page 103 in Chapter 3, Voice System Administration , for
additional information.
If you change digital protocol assignments on the voice system,
you must also make the change on the switch.
To change the T1 A/B Robbed-bit E&M parameters:
1 Start at the T1 A/B Robbed-bit E&M menu (Figure 88 on page 151) and
select:
