No dial tone when • You must press a line button to get a dial tone.

Can't hear other party • Check handset or speaker volume.

Will not dial. • Make sure TONE/PULSE is set to correct position.
Phone doesn’t ring • Check RINGER VOLUME.

• Could have too many phones on one line. (See

Low handset or • Check the volume settings .
