Parking
There are two ways that Park can be set up on your system. Contact your
Administrator to find out if you have the following.
System Park
Park and Page
System Park
You can place a call in a “parking slots” available on the SBX system for
retrieval from another phone.
Example: A call may come in for someone in your group. However, that
person is somewhere else in the building. You can park the call,
then page the person with the parking location/slot number. That
person can then retrieve the call from any phone in the system by
dialing the park location you provided.
Note: Contact your System Administrator for details about the available
parking slots, and/or if you are unsure if this feature is available on
your phone.
To Park a Call
While on an active call:
1. Press TRANS/PGM, then dial the Park location/slot number
(601through 608).
2. Hang up.
Hint: Remember the location at which the call is parked as you need it
to retrieve the call.
To Retrieve a Parked Call at Any Station
1. Lift the handset, or press SPEAKER.
2. Dial the Park location/slot number to be connected with the caller.
Note: The time a call can remain parked is limited. If parked call
exceeds this time limit, the call will ring back at the station that
parked the call. If the call is still not retrieved it will route to the
Automated Attendant, then it will be disconnected if not retrieved
from there.
