B. Status LEDs
The Multi DVI System features “status-at-a-glance” LEDs to ensure the units are
functioning properly and to isolate problems with input signals, units, and/or
cabling, which saves time during installation and troubleshooting (see Figure B-1).
For information on these indicators, see Table B-1. The UTP connector also
contains LED indicators on either side to provide visual cues on connection and
traffic status (see Figure B-2).

Normal Operation —OFF;
ON—EXCEPTION—a serious problem has occurred with the unit. Contact Black Box Technical

Normal Operation —ON;
Active DVI signal detected from source for transmitter side OR active DVI display detected from
receiver side.

Normal Operation —ON;
Indicates active link between transmitter and receiver.

Indicates video packet transmission between transmitter and receiver.
