Main Features
Centralized control of vast range devices from a single controller
The VSP-9000 controller enables centralized control of up to 254 cameras
and 100 multiplexers and DVRs using SANYO’s Security Serial Protocol
(SSP) and other brand name protocols*. The VSP-9000 simplifies the
operation of today’s increasingly complex medium- to large-scale security
systems.

26 customizable user maps with 40 macro function keys each
Enabling control of a total of 254 cameras, multiplexers, and digital video
recorders, the VSP-9000 simplifies the operation of today’s increasingly
complex medium- to large-scale security systems with an LCD touch
panel and up to 26 customizable user maps. Each map is allotted 40
freely configurable macro function keys which allow the operator to
control individual devices by assigning an address to each device.
* Menus and submenus can be set by pressing the keys represented by the icons.
* User maps can easily be designed by PC GUI and uploaded on the keyboard through RS-232C

The VSP-9000 facilitates a multi-level security setting according to
the access level of the user.

Supports not only SSP, but also the RS-422 standard to facilitate control
of other major brand devices.

The SSP control system forms a state-of-the-art security environment
that utilizes existing surveillance cameras and recording devices by
effectively combing a multifunction VSP-9000 controller and VSP-CB10
modulators supporting SSP for RS-485 communications. A system link-

PC connection terminal (COM: RS-232C)
Use for connecting to a PC.
Install software on the supplied CD-ROM to a connected PC to add
other languages, etc. Use the language selection in system setup to
select an added language. This changes the menu display language.

Camera communication terminals (TELEMETRY A/B)
Connect a provided or separately purchased
modular cable to these terminals.
• Terminal A: Connect a camera.
• Terminal B: Connect a camera.

Video communication terminal (VIDEO)
Connect video equipment (multiplexers, hard disk digital recorders, etc.)
When connecting this unit with video equipment, always use the
provided modular cable and communication conversion connector.
