Radio Shack MD-982 Video Game Keyboard User Manual

625U-SC-006A
You can use this sheet music and play guide to help you play along with most of the prerecorded tunes stored in your
RadioShack MD-982 MIDI Keyboard. The sheet music is specially marked with chord labels and fingering positions, to
help any musician, from a beginner to an expert!
LEVELS
Each of the tunes in this book is marked to show the skill level recommended to play the tune.
For example, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” is most easily played by a musician with an advanced skill level.
FINGERINGS
All of the music in this book includes finger positions. The finger positions are shown as numbers that correspond to each fin-
ger on both of your hands, as shown here.
The fingerings shown for the right hand are usually the tune’s melody, and the fingerings shown for the left hand are usually
the tune’s chords.
Notes:
The fingerings shown in this book were selected to make playing the tunes as simple as possible. You can also use other
fingerings.
See “Standard Fingering Chord Charts” in your keyboard’s Owner’s Manual for a list of all the chords you can play on your
keyboard using standard fingering accompaniment.
The music in this book includes information about keyboard pressure. However, your keyboard does not have a touch
control feature.
Some of the numbers have a circle around them. These numbers show that you must cross that finger over the finger shown
by the previous number to play the note or series of notes. For example, you must cross your thumb and index finger to play
the indicated notes in the following example.
