iii. Select "CR->CR/LF " = NONE
iv. Select Columns = 80
v. Select "Terminal Font" = Courier 20
vi. Select "Translations" = NONE
vii. Select "Use Function, Arrow, and Ctrl Keys for Windows" = NO
3. “Communications"
i. Select "Baud Rate" = 9600
ii. Select "Data Bits" = 8
iii. Select "Stop Bits" = 1
iv. Select "Parity" = NONE
v. Select "Flow Control" = NONE
vi. Select "Connector" = Must match the port with the serial cable connected to the
scanner's HOST connection.
C. The Diagnostic program only recognizes upper case letters, therefore the "CAPS LOCK"
must be ON.
II. Save the Setup
A. Under "File"
1. Select "Save As..."
2. Save the settings as "terminal.trm" for automatic loading when the program starts.
