I have a Sony PSP E1004 CB. The PSP is not reading...

I have a Sony PSP E1004 CB. The PSP is not reading the CDs. I have tried with several new CDs even but nothing is happening. Please provide me a solution as the service center guy tells that it cannot be repaired.
