I turned on my wii. I got to the game then it was loading and it said. An error has occured please remove the disc, turn off the console, & please read the wii operations manual for farther instructions. I never had this problem with the wii before. It isn't just one disc either because I tried more than one disc. So it must be the wii. It couldn't be the cursor bar because it got past the wii menu. The warranty expired like 2 or 3 years ago.
