Question About Mad Catz Video Game Controller MOV-547360

Controller worked great untill recently! Now it acts speratic. Playing Tiger Woods 09 you mainly use the far left rotation nob. You pull it to 6 oclock, and back to 12 oclock. I no longer works smoothly. What can i do to fix this issue?
